What is Storyboard Revisionists?

Storyboard revisionists are an important part of an animation production staff.

It is responsible for improving and redrawing the artwork for rough storyboards to make them on-model and set for production.

This revision process performs after the original boards have been written and illustrated by storyboard artists.

Storyboard revisionists person perform tasks to clean up and patch rough storyboard panels their responsibility extends beyond that.

Their key role is to support the storyboard artists and ensure the storyboards fit the animation production vision and style.

But it can also be as tricky as completely re-staging the composition in particular panels from scratch.
